Winter Beauty Essentials

Hello there beautiful people! Welcome back xoxo I don't know about you, but this winter has been especially brutal to my skin. I wanted to share with you all what I've found works best for me in case you've been having the same issues and or just want to try something new.

Face

I have slight eczema on my forehead and chin so I like to keep my face moisturized.
1. This night cream by Burt's Bees (intense hydration night cream with clary sage) has been my tried and true winter favorite, and it has never let me down! Just like the name of the product suggests it delivers intense hydration to my skin and keeps it soft like a baby's bottom.
2. In the mornings I don't like to wear day cream because it feels thick and heavy on my skin, I have yet to find an actual day cream that doesn't doest do that to me. This primer by Too Faced (Hangover RX replenishing face primer) is AMAZING. It offers just the right amount of hydration to replenish my face and make it look fresh, my skin feels so smooth and awake when i wear this.
3. These past few months I have been going back and forth between these two eye creams (sense nourishing eye cream and benefit it's potent eye cream), they're both hydrating and leave my under eyes feeling hydrated.
4. This is my HOLY GRAIL exfoliant , its by Kate Somerville (exfolikate) and I highly recommend you try this. I have gone through several samples of this and once this last sample is out I have to dish out the cash to buy the full size product, it is so worth it these little samples last me such a long time because you don't need to use this intensive exfoliant often and you only need a small amount of product to cover your whole face. This is seriously magic on your face, i feel the results immediately after and i see visible lasting results the very next morning. If i had an active breakout it is smoothed over and my skin looks and feels 5 times clearer.
5. On days where my skin feels extra dry and tight I like to use this moisturizing mask (sense nutritious creme mask) for some quick relief. This mask is so potent and chock full of moisture that i can only have it on for 10 minutes max. This mask is so rich and my skin is so sensitive that if i leave it on longer it will make my skin break out. But for those of you without sensitive skin this is an amazing sleeping mask and doesn't transfer onto anything.
6. I used to just rub my lips with a wet towel after washing my face to get off the dead skin, and that worked well for me. I just recently decided to try a lip scrub and its really nice, I don't feel like its a necessity, and I don't do it all the time, but I do like to use it before I use an extra drying liquid lipstick. (Sugar Lip Polish)
7. Can you tell how much I love this lip balm? This is my HOLY GRAIL lip balm, This is the first lip balm I've tried that made my lips feel deeply hydrated and not just hydrated on the surface. I have one everywhere I need one, my purse, my vanity, my car, etc. I never thought I could love a lip balm this much. (Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25)

Hair

8. I have tried a few products from this brand already and I notice such a huge difference in my hair when I use them. Before I cut my hair these products would trick my extremely dry and coarse hair into acting healthy and hydrated, even now that I've cut my hair and its a lot more healthy I still love to use these leave in creams. The cream on the left is a deluxe sample that I got from Sephora (Phytokeratine Extreme Exceptional Cream) and its been lasting me a good month so far, before this leave in cream I was using the Phyto 9 Nourishing Day Cream and I personally like the cream Im using now more.  Whenever I use heat to style my hair Ive been using the cream pictured on the right (Phytospecific Thermoperfect 8 Heat Protecting Serum), I prefer a cream or an oil heat protectant over a spray because I feel like it really coats and protects my ends; where I need it most. Both of these creams smell soooo good too! I have tried products from Aussie and Tresemme and they just don't provide long lasting hydration to my hair like Phyto.

Body

Just like my face, the rest of my body has been extremely dry this winter season.
9. Thankfully I only get eczema in between my fingers and not anywhere else on my body, because I'm not good at staying consistent with applying lotion, but this lotion by Philosophy (Almonds and Cream) smells soooo good and absorbs so quickly that I love it when I do apply lotion. I was really surprised to find Philosophy products at Marshalls, I just couldn't pass up the deal. I hate paying full price for anything so that makes me love this lotion even more.
10. I like to use exfoliating gloves in the shower to make sure my skin stays soft and doesn't look ashy.

That's it guys! I hope this post was helpful to you. I wonder how many times I said hydrated in this post.... lol Well thats exactly what I'm looking for, I hate feeling dry; its just not a comfortable feeling to me. Muah! I hope you all are having a wonderful day xoxo DMP
