Hello there beautiful people! I have been so obsessed with playing with glitter lately. I recently picked up the new Stila Magnificent Metals Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Kitten Karma and I;ve been playing with it, so let me share my thoughts on the product. Yes, it is GORGEOUS , but i just feel like there are better ways to do glitter shadow. It takes a little bit of time to dry, obviously its a liquid, but once it dries it flakes so easily! I don't know if i use too much, but even after its dried i get transfer all over my crease, to be fair i do have slightly hooded eyes, but I've never experienced this with my other method of liquid glitter shadow. Also, I've found that throughout the day it just flakes off on its own and whenever I look into a mirror I have flecks of glitter everywhere. I'll continue to play with it, maybe i need to find a nice glitter shadow to set it with, or use less, or i don't know, I'll update you in a future post whether I've found a way to make it work for me or if i ended up returning it.
My favorite way to apply liquid eyeshadow that hasn't failed me is by mixing loose glitter with my Make Up For Ever Aqua Seal , this product is amazing and I can't recommend it enough. The Too Faced Glitter Glue is nice, but I'm not a fan of the initial fallout upon application, so I use that with shimmer shadows and I love it.
I love how this look came out, this was my first time playing with more orange shades, Ive been eyeing the shade Realgar from my ABH Modern Renaissance palette ever since I got it but I've always been so intimidated by it! I'm so glad I finally dipped into it and I'm ready to do more looks with this color <3
